About Constellation Real Technologies
- Constellation Real Technologies, LLC (“Constellation”) was formed on May 4, 2000 as the real estate industry's leading technology consortium and venture capital fund.
- Constellation’s goals are to share technology knowledge and best practices among its Members; discern best-of-breed technologies and enterprises in numerous strategic sectors; invest capital in best-of-breed companies where appropriate; sponsor and incubate real estate-related technology enterprises; and act as an opportunistic consolidator.
- Constellation's current members include seven members of the S&P 500, eight Fortune 500 companies, three Fortune 100 companies, the largest office REIT, the largest retail REIT, four of the 20 largest multi-family REITs, and two of the world's largest pension funds.
Mission Constellation’s mission is to enhance the performance of its Members' businesses, supply its Members with superior financial returns on invested capital, grow the businesses of its portfolio companies, and promote the evolution and quality of the emerging real estate technology area. Strategy With the sponsorship of the leading real estate companies from a wide range of property type sectors, Constellation is uniquely positioned to pursue real estate-related technology initiatives and opportunities. By leveraging the combined market presence, strength, and domain expertise of its Members, Constellation brings unique insight to its investment decisions and unsurpassed strategic value to its portfolio companies. Investment Criteria (See our Portfolio Companies) Constellation seeks technologies and companies at all stages of development that will enhance the performance of its Members’ businesses and which address a strategic need in the broad real estate market by: - lowering headcount and/or raising productivity;
- reducing cycle time;
- increasing revenue;
- lowering costs;
- increasing customer satisfaction;
- producing better strategic decisions; or
- enhancing collaboration.

Constellation typically seeks to take an active role in the governance of its portfolio companies, and draws on the time and diverse operating, managerial and financial skills of its management and Members to help propel portfolio company growth.
